Terms of service

Last updated: [date of publication]

These terms are an agreement between you (or the organisation you act for) and [Company legal name] (“we”). By installing or using FusionTerm you accept them.

1. The license

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run FusionTerm on servers you control, for your organisation's internal use, within the limits of your plan (number of users and features). You may not resell, sublicense, offer FusionTerm as a hosted service to third parties, remove license checks, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.

2. Plans and payment

3. Your responsibilities

You run FusionTerm on your own infrastructure, so you are responsible for: the servers and networks you connect to and your right to access them; keeping FusionTerm updated and backed up; protecting administrator accounts; and how your users use it. Don't use FusionTerm to access systems without authorisation.

4. Your data

Your data stays on your server and remains yours. We don't receive it (see the privacy policy).

5. Support and updates

Paid plans include updates and email support during [business hours, time zone]. We aim to reply within one business day; Enterprise agreements may include more.

6. Warranty

FusionTerm is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the agreement

You can stop using FusionTerm at any time. We may end your license if you materially breach these terms and don't fix it within 30 days of our notice. When it ends, stop using paid features; your data stays on your server.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of [country/state], and the courts of [city] have jurisdiction. If a part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and paying customers get notice of material changes.
