Privacy policy
Last updated: [date of publication]
The short version: FusionTerm runs on your server. Your servers, passwords, keys, sessions and logs stay there — we never receive them. This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics.
Who we are
[Company legal name], [registered address] (“FusionTerm”, “we”). For anything about privacy, email privacy@fusionterm.com.
This website (fusionterm.com)
What we collect
- Contact form and email. Your name, work email, company, team size and message — only what you send us. We use it to answer you and, if you become a customer, to manage your license. Legal basis: steps you asked for before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider ([Cloudflare, Inc.]) processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested to deliver and protect the site. These logs are kept for a short period by the provider.
What we don't do
- No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no selling of personal data.
- Fonts are served from this site, not from Google.
- Your light/dark choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
Service providers
- [Formspree, Inc.] — receives contact-form messages and forwards them to us.
- [Cloudflare, Inc.] — website hosting and protection.
- [Your email provider] — our mailboxes.
Some providers are in the United States; transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a purchase: up to 24 months. Customer and license records: as long as the license runs, plus what tax and accounting law requires.
The FusionTerm software
FusionTerm is installed and run by you. Everything it stores — accounts, saved connections, encrypted credentials, the vault, audit logs — stays in the database on your server. You are the controller of that data; we have no access to it.
- Licenses are checked on your server, offline. Activating one sends us nothing.
- Update notice: once a day the server asks Docker Hub (Docker, Inc.) for the list of published versions. That request carries your server's IP address and nothing else. Turn it off with
FUSIONTERM_UPDATE_CHECK=0. - Support: if you send us logs or screenshots, we use them only to solve your issue and delete them when it's closed.
- Android app: it stores the addresses of your servers on the phone, uses the camera only when you scan a QR code, and talks only to your server.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and complain to your data protection authority. Email privacy@fusionterm.com; we answer within 30 days.
Changes
We'll update the date above when this policy changes, and tell customers by email about important changes.
